Modified nailing method
In general, modified nailing allows the use of larger diameter implants and thus may provide greater primary stability. Some studies show a tendency for misuse and lack of grafting when performing rimming. On the other hand, fat embolization is a concern, and with solid, unfused indigo, the forces required to achieve indigo torsion are greater. Most centers prefer nailing as a standard procedure.
In this whole treatment option, general fracture patterns include the following 4 methods:
A) Unreduced fracture
b) reduced fracture
c) The fracture is temporarily reduced, which is stable
D) fully fixed fracture
